It’s Official – 2015 BAFTA Awards Announcement!

The nominations for the 2015 BAFTA Awards have finally been announced – and it’s no surprise that Les Miserables (2012) and My Week with Marilyn (2011) star Eddie Redmayne has been recognized for his efforts starring as Professor Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything (released in UK cinemas 1st January 2015). See http://bit.ly/X28oSX for more details.

The mind blowing Interstellar (2014) has also been nominated for 5 awards including Best Cinematography and Best Achievement in Visual Special Effects.

Amongst other nominees for Best Film stands Boyhood (2014), an intriguing “coming-of-age” production, which was filmed over 12 years following the same cast and taking the audience through the reality of growing up.

This year’s BAFTA Awards will be held for the ninth year running at the Covent Garden Royal Opera House, London. The night will be hosted by the newly-engaged Stephen Fry and will take place on the 8th February 2015.
